APPOINTING SPECIAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
(SLEO II)
WHEREAS, there is a need for Special Law Enforcement Officer (SLED II) in the
Borough of Carteret; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Borough of Carteret to make said
appointment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council that the
following individual is hereby appointed Special Law Enforcement Officer (SLEO II)
Joshua Chambers
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall be implemented in accordance
with the Borough's established hiring procedures for such position and as provided by law
effective July 11, 2022 pending successful completion of fitness evaluation.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on July 8, 2022.
