Kurt & Bessie Jo: I write to express opposition to the proposed contract for a party-paddle-boat to operate off the east side of the sheriff’s dock. The applicant’s proposal incorporates a diagram showing the boat to be moored on the east side of the sheriff’s dock, which would have it departing/returning through the narrow channel between the east side of the sheriff’s dock and the western most side of May’s Marina. As you can plainly see from the attached aerial photo, that channel is extremely narrow. Leaving aside all the other reasons the City Council should reject the application, the Council should at the very least require the paddle boat to dock on the west side of the sheriff’s dock, which would alleviate safety concerns for both the party boat and the boats moored along the western side of the west boundary of May’s Marina. Thank you for your time and consideration. Gene Ritti 804 Evergreen, McCall May’s Marina slip #54 Sent from my iPad
