Is there any “deadline” date by which comments by the May’s Marina folks needs to be received by Kurt and Bessie Jo? I will be forwarding this info on to them for their individual review and comment if any. Mike: as a power boat slip owner at May’s Marina, I am trying to find out information about the City Council’s 3-2 vote to proceed with a contract with a party-paddle-boat company. I have seen a news report stating you and another declined to support the concept. My questions are: (1) what exactly did the motion state? (2) the news report said the 3-2 vote was subject to a “condition” - if so, what exactly is the condition? (3) why wasn’t a public hearing held before voting on the motion? (4) can slip owners at May’s Marina still present opposing viewpoints on this contract, assuming it has not yet been executed by the City, and if so, what is the deadline by which to do so? (5) we have heard that the party boat will be moored on the east side of the sheriff’s dock, next to the western-most side of the Marina’s west side, a location where the water between the docks is already very tight - is it possible for the city to require a different location if it opts to finalize this contract? Thank you for your time and consideration. Best regards, Gene Ritti Slip #54 804 Evergreen Drive Sent from my iPhone <AB22-025.pdf>
