AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, OF IN-
TENTION TO PROCEED UNDER ARTICLE 5, TITLE
5, DIVISION 1 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE
(PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENTS VACATION LAW. -
GOVERNMENT CODE SECTIONS 50430 ET SEQ.)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLL0 S:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City,
California, hereby declares its intention to proceed to vacate certain
easements hereinafter described in Section 3 pursuant to Article 5,
Title 5, Division 1 of the Government Code (Public Service Easements
Vacation Law) (Government Code Sections 50430 Et Seq.)
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Temple City here-
by declares its intention to vacate certain easements hereinafter fully
described in Section 3.
SECTION 3. The Easements to be vacated are described as
follows:
An easement for light and air over the southerly 30 ft. of
Lots 36- 3738- 39 -40, and the northerly 30 ft. of Lot 34, and
the easterly 30 ft. of Lots 34, 33, 32, and 31, Tract 10558,
recorded in Book 178, Pages 4 and 5 of Maps, included within
certain strips of land 30 ft. wide lying between lines desig-
nated as "Building Set -Back Lines ", such strips to be kept
open and free from building and structures of any kind ex-
cept irrigation and sprinkling systems and appurtenances ther
to as shown upon and as designated by the map of Tract 10558,
and an easement designated as a "Future Street" over the nor-
therly 30 ft. of Lot 1 and the westerly 30 ft. of Lots 1, 2,
3 and 4, of Tract #11699, Map Book 218, page 49, as shown
upon and as dedicated by the Map of said Tract #11694, in the
office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County.
SECTION 4. The light and air easements and road easement deE.
cribed in Section 3 are shown on those certain Tract Maps No. 27309
on file with the City Clerk of the City of Temple City located in the
City Hall of the City of Temple City at 966L: East Las Tunas Drive,
Temple City, California.
SECTION 5. The time and place for hearing all persons inter-
ested in the proposed vacation will be at a public hearing to be held
on November 26, 1962, at 7 :45 P. M. in the City Hall of the City of
Temple City, at 9664 East Las Tunas Drive, Temple City, California.
SECTION 6. The City Manager of the City of Temple City shall
cause to be posted conspicuously notices of easement vacation along the
line of the easement proposed to be vacated as hereinabove described in
Section 3, in accordance with Section 50441 of the Government Code of
the State of California.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Tempi
City, California, at a regular meeting thereof held this 12th day of
November , 1962, by the following called vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Dickason, Fitzjohn, Merritt, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen- None
ABSENT: Councilmen- Nunamaker

meeting of the City Council held on October 22, 1962, and adopted at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on November 12, 1962, by
