AN RDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE MONEY FOR THH MONTH OF r,CTODER, 1945•
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is herdby appropriated out of any money in
the Pty Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the following:
REVENUE FUND
For the purpose of paying the salaries of elective
And appointive officers, the sum of 36850.00
Policemen allowance, uniforms, eta. . . 130.00
For the purpose of pmyaing City Enginneer for use of

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONEY FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAINTAINING
A RECREATIONAL PROGRAM FOR THE YOUTH OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI. SAID PROGRAM BEING SPONSORED BY THE PARENT-TEACHERS
ASSSOCIATIJ OF "'HE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSO-RI, WORKING IN
COOPERATION WITH THE COORDINATING COMMITTEE OF PARK BOARD OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI.
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the general welfare of the public
and for the youth of the city of Jefferson, 'Missouri to have
a Recreational Program for the Youth of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JET-'FERSON,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section l.' It is hereby appropriated out of any money If the
City Treasury of the City of Jefferson, Missouri not otherwise
a propriated in the amount of One Thousand rive Aundred Dollars
( 1 500.00) . Said sum to be paid to the Park Board of the City
of Jefferson as follows; to-wit: 0 e Hundred Sixty-Sis Dollars and
Sixty Six and Two-Thirds Cents ($16.66 2/3) on the first day of
October, 1945, and One Hundred Sixty-Six Dollars and Sixty-§ix
and two-Thirds Cents ($166.66 2/3)on the First day of each Callender
month thereafter for a period of nine (9) months. Said money to
be paid to the Perk Board of the ity of Jefferson, Missouri.
