AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
AMENDING SECTION 3301 AND ADDING SECTION
3301.1 TO THE TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE
TO REMOVE CERTAIN INAPPLICABLE SECTIONS
OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 6544,
ADOPTED AS THE TRAFFIC CODE OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY AND TO CLARIFY REFERENCES
TO NAME AND TERMS CONTAINED IN THE SAID
TRAFFIC CODE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 3301 of the Temple City Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"3301. Said County Ordinance No. 6544, known as "The
Traffic Ordinance" is hereby adopted and approved as the
Traffic Code of the City of Temple City, except for the fol-
lowing sections of said Ordinance No. 6544 which are deleted
and repealed:
Sections 1207, 6004 and 6005."
SECTION 2. Section 3301.1 is hereby added to the Temple
City Municipal Code to read as follows:
"3301.1. Whenever any of the following names or terms
are used in said Ordinance No. 6544 of the County of Los AngdbL
as amended, each such name or term shall be deemed or construes.'
to have the meaning ascribed to it in this section as follows:
,, 1. "County" or "County of Los Angeles" or "Unincorpo-
rated Area" shall mean the City of Temple City.
2. "Board of Supervisors" or "Board" shall mean the
City Council of the City of Temple City.
3. "Commissioner" shall mean the City Manager of the
City of Temple City.
4.- "The Los Angeles County Highway Commission" shall
mean the Temple City Traffic Commission."
PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Temple City at a regular meeting thereof held on the l2thday
of November , 1962 by the following called vote:
AYES: Councilmen: Dickason, Fitzjohn, Merritt, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen: Noes
ABSENT: Councilmen: Nunamaker

meeting of the City Council held on the 22nd day of October, 1962,
and adopted at the regular meeting of the City Council held on the
12th day of November, 1962, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Dickason, Fitzjohn, Merritt, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen -None
