A RESOLUTION SETTING THE FIREWORKS PERMIT FEE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA.
Whereas, the City Council has an Ordinance in place that fireworks are illegal within the
City limits of Tiffin and following the State of Iowa Code. and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin agrees that per the Ordinance set forth if
there is a special event a permit may be issued for fireworks within the City Limits of
Tiffin. This permit fee will be $25 for the one -time use fireworks permit;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to adopt the
fee of $25 for the special one -time use fireworks permit.
On the 13th day of June, 2012, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Weipert introduced Resolution No. 2012 -30, A RESOLUTION
SETTING THE FIREWORKS PERMIT FEE and made a motion for approval. Motion
seconded by Councilperson Ball.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Weipert, Ball
Nays: None
Absent: Ryan
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2012 -30, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE
FIREWORKS PERMIT FEE be adopted and signified his approval of the same by
affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 13th day of June, 2012.
