Dear Bessie Jo,
In an effort to keep Idaho Power’s franchise agreement procedures current, we are providing you
information to ensure that the cities have one point of contact to address any franchise items,
including annexation notices. I will be the city’s point of contact for all issues concerning franchise
agreements.
Under the existing franchise agreement, the city is required to notify Idaho Power of any new
annexation ordinances and provide appropriate information so that we can ensure that our records
are correct. The information needed includes:
A copy of the annexation ordinance
Detailed maps of the annexed area (GIS maps if available)
A list of the existing addresses in the annexed area
A list of subdivision names and phases in the annexed area
