ORDINANCE NO. 63 -103
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY AMENDING THE MUNI-
CIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE REQUIREMENT THAT
ALL LOTS FRONT ON A PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLONS:
SECTION 1, Section 9113 is hereby added to the Temple City
Municipal. Code to read as follows:
9113. No lot shall be developed or created after April 25,
1963, which shall have less than thirty five (35) feet of Frontage
upon a public thoroughfare and no building permit shall be issued for
construction of any building upon any lots developed prior to April 25,
1963, that do not have a minimum of thirty five (35) feet frontage
upon a public thoroughfare without the approval of the Planning Commis-
sion of the plan of development for the particular lot. The Planning
Commission may deny the plan for development of any lot having less
than thirty -five (35) feet of frontage upon a public thoroughfare in
existence prior to April 25, 1963, in the event the plans show that
the proposed development of the property will violate any provisions
of the Temple City Municipal Code, will not maintain the character and
integrity of the district in which such development shown on the sub-
mitted plan is intended to be constructed, or will be detrimental to
the general welfare of the community.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Temple
City at a regular meeting thereof held this 25th day of March, 1963,
by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Dickason, Fitzjohn, Merritt, Nunamaker, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen- None
ABSENT: Councilmen -None
