UEZ FUNDING REQUEST
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FERRY TERMINAL
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret UEZ Program desires to apply for and obtain
funding from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs in the amount of
$357,000 to be used towards construction of the Borough of Carteret FerryTerminal; and
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the Borough of Carteret does hereby authorize
the application for such funding; and, recognizes and accepts that the Department may
offer a lesser or greater amount and therefore, upon receipt of the funding agreement for
the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, does further authorize the execution
of any such funding agreement; and also, upon receipt of the fully executed agreement
from the Department, does *further authorize the expenditure of funds pursuant to the
terms of the agreement between the Borough of Carteret UEZ Program and the New
Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Division of Urban Enterprise Zone's Zone
Assistance Fund; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the persons whose names, titles and signatures
appear below are authorized to sign the application, and that they or their successors in
said titles are authorized t Qid o sign the agreement and any other documents necessary in
o ion therewith.'
