The new owner has requested a new lease. The existing lease consists of 1,512 square feet of property. The current lease rate is $0.305, or $461.90 annually. The FY21 lease payment has not been received at the time of this writing. The new lease will be effective October 1, 2020 for a period of 20 years, with an additional 2 (two) 10-year options. The McDonoughs have requested a Hangar 550 lease termination. The purchaser has been provided with a copy of the current lease, current Airport Rules and Regulations, and Airport Minimum Standards. Staff has requested a $200 transaction fee. The contract has been reviewed, and comments incorporated, by the City Attorney.
