COMMITTEE MEETING
December 7, 1994

Call to order and roll call: Ted Whiteman called the meeting to
order at 7:05 P.M. Judy Barkley and Frank Brown were absent,
while all other committee members were present.
Minutes: Jeff Goodman moved that the Minutes from the meeting on
November 2, 1994 be approved as written. Motion Carried.
New Business:
1. Season Pass Refunds
Carl Boss reported that he had researched the validity and
found no reason to deny any of the four refund requests.
Mark Maxwell had played three rounds, so his refund will be
pro -rated. Alice Hamblin, Kay Carter, and Marion Murray
should be full refunds.
**** Rick VanNoy moved to recommend to the City Council to
approve the four pass refund requests with Maxwell's refund
pro -rated to reflect the rounds played. Jeff Goodman
seconded. Motion carried.
2. Cross Country Meet at Golf Course
This topic was moved to next agenda.
Old Business:
1. Irrigation Engineer
Ted Whiteman stated he had contacted some of the references
given by all three of the firms submitting proposals. He
received no negative feedback from any of the contacts.
**** Jeff Goodman moved to recommend to City Council that Kuhn
and Associates be the first choice of the Committee and
Coates Consulting be the second choice. They would like to
state that either of the two firms would be satisfactory.
Rick VanNoy seconded. Motion carried.
2. Cart Storage Status
Moved to next agenda.
Staff Reports:
Carl Hoss presented a letter from the Humanitarian Sports
Hall of Fame inquiring about holding a tournament at McCall
Golf Course.
Jeff Goodman moved to recommend to the City Council to
welcome the Humanitarian Sports Hall of Fame Tournament on
June 24, 25, and 26, 1995. No reduced green fees will be
given. Rick VanNoy seconded. Motion carried.
Superintendent Denham reported that on December 29, he will
be leaving for his final year at Rutgers University. He
will be missing the next three committee meetings.
Chairman Whiteman agreed to see that the minutes for those
meetings are taken care of.
With no further business, meeting adjournment at 8:40 p.m.
