The Department of Public Works will investigate the possibility of relocating utility poles and realigning the alley to allow one-way traffic at some time in the future. �! l Council..Meeting, January 17, 19,77. The following members were ) present: . Chairman Holliway; Members Busch and Capps . Mr. Bodine ( was unable to attend. The following business was transacted: 1. The request from Wendell E. Koerner, President of Ker-Mac, Inc. , requesting a conditional use permit for the constructionli of a church tentatively located on property designated as Schellridge South Subdivision, presently owned by Gene Schenewerk. The Board granted the conditional use permit after the motion was made by Mr. Capps and seconded by Mr. Busch. 2. The request of Ruth Surface, 102 South Johnson Street , for a i conditional use permit to operate a Day Care Center at her ;f residence. Motion was made by Mr. Busch and seconded by Mr Capps that the conditional use permit be granted. The motion was approved unanimously. 3. The request of Mildred Kemple, 101 Vista Road, for a condition-h al use permit to operate a Day Care Center at her residence. Motion was made by Mr. Busch and seconded by Mr. Capps that the request be granted, Motion passed unanimously. 4. The request of Mrs . Lucetta Hendrix, 1940 Hayselton Drive, for a conditional use permit to operate a Day Care Center at ji her residence. The request of Eastlanders , Inc . , for a variance in building set-back on property owned by them on the east side of Eastland Drive located between Wooded Lane Road and Timber Road. The request of Central Missouri Professional Services, Inc. , ' Board of for conditional use permits to construct four-plexes in an 'Adjustment area behind Tanner Bridge Road which is known as Christy Inc, , ; ,lReport. After considerable discussion, it was decided that conditional approval be granted but that final approval be withheld until the February meeting, at which timell we can designate a specific list of conditions which must be abided by during the construction of the four-plexes . 7. Conditional approval was granted to the Housing Authority of 1!, the City of Jefferson, Missouri, to construct a one hundred twenty (120) unit Hi-Rise Apartment building east of the i1i existing Dulle Tower. The permission was granted allowing for" an exception in the density requirements as well as off-street , parking requirements of the Zoning Ordinance. WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority has determined that the street lighting on High Street from Adams to Washington Streets should be upgraded as a part of the Progress Urban Renewal Project; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to participate in this improvement through work to be done by the Department of Public Works and through a financial contribution. ii NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as follows : 1. The Director of Public Works is instructed to take whatever steps are necessary to, using Revenue Sharing Funds, reimburse the Housing Authority for 50% of the cost of 52 street lights to be placed on High Street in accordance with a site plan prepared by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill and the Missouri Power and Light Company and now estimated to cost , in total , $42 ,000.
