"With best personal regards , I am, Sincerely yours , /a/ Robert L. Hyder. Mayor Christy accepted the resignation but appointed Mayor Hyder as an ex-officio member of-the-Parking-Authority. Mayor Christy appointed Councilmen Ortmeyer, Chairman; Hager, Gordon, Brant and Borgmeyer as the Canvassing Committee to canvass the results of the April lst City Election. After a short recess, Councilman Ortmeyer, Chairman of the Canvassing Committee, presented the following report:April 15, 1975. Councilman Gordon, President Pro tem of the Council, presented the following Resolution: WHEREAS, the Honorable John G. Christy has served this City asi{ Mayor for the past twelve years , and �) WHEREAS, his devotion to the duties of his office, his honesty and integrity have established an unparalleled precedent, and WHEREAS, through his long service in the General Assembly of Resolution Missouri, in which he served three terms as Speaker of the House of Mayor Representatives , and his consequent knowledge and experience in IlChristy. government was a constant source of advantages to this community, 11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, acting for and in behalf of all citizens of this entire area, express the gratitude and appreciation of the City of Jefferson to John G. Christy, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be spread on the Journal of Proceedings of the City Council and that a properly certified copy hereof be presented to the Honorable John G. No. 1, introduced by Councilmen Borgmeyer, Brant and Whitecotton, entitled: "To Repeal Ordinance No. 8711 ppassed by the Council March 3, 1975, and signed by the Mayor March 4, 1975, authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City and the City Clerk of said City to execute on , behalf of the City a deed conveying certain property at the Jefferson City Memorial Airport to the State of Missouri, because the description in the deed was not correct and enact in lieu thereof an Ordinance of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, authorizkg ,' and directing the Mayor of the City and the City Clerk of said City ' to execute on behalf of the City a deed conveying certain property liBill No. 1. at the Jefferson City Memorial Airport to the State of Missouri, 4+Deed to containing a correct description in the deed."
