CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL: The Chairman called the meeting to
order at 7:10 p.m. Rick VanNoy and Judy Barkley were absent.
All others were present.
MINUTES:
Frank Brown moved to approve the minutes of May 11, 1994 as
presented. Goodman seconded and the motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. High School Golf Team:
Mike Gantz attended the meeting to inform the Committee of the
successful first season for the team. He explained that there
seems to be a high level of interest from the students. He
inquired about the possibility of the McCall Golf Course hosting
a late season meet. Frank Brown moved to recommend to City
Council that the McCall Golf Course host a late season event for
the school. Late season being the first or second week of May.
Jeff Goodman seconded and the motion carried.
2. Play Pace Policy:
The Chairman presented some materials he acquired from a golf
course which has a "fast play" policy in effect (attached). The
Committee is to study the material and make recommendations at,
or before the next meeting. Hoss also presented some materials
for study. The Committee felt they needed to review these
materials to come up with the best possible plan of action. The
recommendation may come from a phone poll in 2 weeks.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Budget Considerations, 1995:
Denham presented some of his ideas for the 1995 season. These
will be attached to the minutes for further review and
recommendation at the July meeting.
With no further business the meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
