Mayor Christy presided,
Councilmen present: Borgmeyer, Collier, Gordon, Hager, Nacy,
Ortmeyer, Seaman and Woodman.
Councilmen absent: Riner and Scrivner.
A quorum was declared present.
The Special Council Meeting was called to pass an Ordinance
authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to sign the necessary contract
for remodeling the Council Chambers and the Judge's Chambers
in the City Hall,
Bill No. 84, introduced by Councilman Ortmeyer, entitled:
"An Ordinance of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, authorizing the
Mayor and Clerk of the City to execute a contract with Prost
Builders, Inc. , P. 0. Box 22, Jefferson City, Mo."
Read first and second time by title and on motion of Councilman
Ortmeyer the rules were suspended and the Bill was read the third
time by title and placed on final passage and was passed by the
following vote as Ordinance 8519:
Councilmen voting Aye: Collier, Gordon, Hager, Nacy, Ortmeyer,
Seaman and Woodman.
Councilman voting Nay: Borgmeyer.
Councilman Nacy moved that the Council adjourn, under the rules .
Motion passed.
