The Commission made the following recommendations : 0: 1) That the re q uest from Chesebrough-Ponds for a traffic officer Parking be denied, and 1! 2) Recommended the removal of any shrubs located on City right-of- Traffic ! way in order to improve sight distance at the intersection of Commission Ridgeway Drive and Livingston Drive in lieu of a 4-way stop. Authority _ - - - - _ _ _ - _ ; Councilman Hager raised the point , relative to the $42,000 for the Traffic Study Downtown, and wanted to have a clear explanation of Traffic the same. Director of Public Works Ed Rackers stated that the Study , Federal Government paid one-half the cost , the City paid one-half. Councilman Borgmeyer complimented-the-Street Department, the Penal Institutions Red Cross , Volunteer Firemen and the National Guard for their splendid work during the flooding. Crest Councilman Gordon requested-that Crest, Donald and Meier Drives be Donald considered for over-lay during the summer and asked the Director of Meier Public Works to make a study of same.
