The minutes of the meeting of October 2nd were approved as M�Approval received. of Minutes . A public hearing was held for the rezoning of land in the area of Public Sunset Lake, known as the Oidtman Tract, from "A-1" to "C" Multiple !Hearing, Dwelling. !Rezoning There was no opposition. A public hearing was held to rezone land along old Route C, known Public as the Neutzler property, to "C" Multiple Dwelling. Hearing, There was no opposition. iRezoning. A communication was received from the Jefferson City Jaycees , inviting the Council Members to ride in the annual Christmas (Christmas Parade on November 27th at 7:00 P.M. Mayor Christy asked the Parade. Council members who were interested in participating in the parade to notify the City Clerk. - A letter of resignation was received from Malcolm Griffen, jesignation Jefferson City Fire Departmentf effective October 4, 1972 . Malcolm Councilman Riner moved that the resignation be accepted. The Planning and Zoning Commission reported that a meeting had been held ,.with various groups to discuss the new Zoning Ordinance of the current Jefferson City Comprehensive Plan, which has been under Planning consideration by the City Council and the Planning and Zoning and Commission for the last three years . The groups present indicated Zoning a desire to expedite implementation of the new Zoning Ordinance and Commission suggested they were prepared to make positive endorsements to the Report.
