HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrdinance 63-113FOLLOWS: ORDINANCE NO. 63 -113 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ESTABLISHING THE AMOUNT OF BOND FOR THE CITY TREASURER AND DEPUTY CITY TREASURER THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN AS J(,"I 8 SECTION l.: Pursuant to Government Code Section 3668 of the State of California the City Attorney has advised the City Council that a bond in the sum of $10,000.00 be executed by the City Treasurer and Deputy City Treasurer. SECTION 2: Pursuant to the recommendation of the City Attor- ney, the City Council does hereby fix the penal sum of bond to be executed by the City Treasurer and Deputy City Treasurer in the sum of $10,000.00 each. SECTION 3: The expense for the bonds required by this ordi- nance is hereby authorized to be made from the general funds of the City. SECTION 4: This ordinance shall take effect immediately. The City .Council finds that it is essential to the general welfare of the City of Temple City that the Treasurer and Deputy City Treasurer be bonded forthwith in conformity with said government section 26578.
