CALL TO ORDER: Frank Brown called the meeting to order in the absence of Ted Whiteman. OLD BUSINESS: I. Coupon Books ***** Committee viewed the work from Dodge/lupin Graphics. Them discussed any possible ways that the city might be 'cheated", and could find none. Rick Van Noy moved to recommend to City Council to approve the final revision on coupon books (attached). Jeff Goodman seconded. Motion carried. 2. Employee "Free" Golf Policy Committee discussed the document from the Council regarding free golf priviledges. Mary Clemmer and Mike Anderson stated they were not informed that they were not going to receive free passes in time to purchase a pass at the early season rate. The committee feels that they should be allowed to purchase a pass at the reduced rate. 3. Refund Policy The committee read the policy regarding refunds of season passes. No comments or action taken at this time 4. Update on Season Pass Carl Hoss reported sales of early passes to be in excess of 150. 5. Fire Sprinkler System The Clubhouse has been repaired, and some im- provements realized. An insurance inspector has viewed the situation and suggested the possibility of installing more drain valves in the dry system. NEW BUSINESS: 1. School Golf Team Moved to next agenda. 2. Rebuild #12 Tee Foundation has approved Supt. Denham's estimate of costs, and will pay entire cost. The city will con- tribute some labor. 3. Spring Mountain Ranch ***** Dave Peugh has asked the City to consider an above- ground road crossing from #8 green to #9 tee on the addition. Originally, a tunnel was going to be installed. There have been several maintenance cost - Page 2 - GOLF COURSE ADVISORY COMMITTEE NEW BUSINESS (Cont.): S.M.R. (cont.) concerns recently. The committee approves of an "at grade" crossing, as long as there is proper signage on the road. Some questions were raised about the cost savings on the tunnel and what might be done with these savings. One suggestion was to put the central control on the irrigation system. Jeff Goodman moved to recommend to City Council to approve S.M.R. request for the road crossing. Rick Van Noy seconded. Motion carried. 4. Restaurant Concessionaire Contract Renewal ***** Rick Van Noy moved to recommend to City Council to approve Concessionaire contract as is for 1994 season. Jeff Goodman seconded. Motion carried.
