Councilmen present: Borgmeyer, Haake, Hawes, Hiesberger, Kliegel, Riner, Scrivner, Stone, Walther and Wildhaber. Councilmen absent: None. A quorum was declared present. --------------- The Special Council Meeting was called by Councilmen Scrivner and Wildhaber to reconsider the vote upon the motion "that the street numbering be cancelled and the entire matter referred to the Street Committee" . Councilman Scrivner moved to reconsider the vote by which the motion "that the street numbering be cancelled and the entire matter be referred to the Street Committee" was approved. The motion to reconsider the vote was approved by the following roll-call vote: Councilmen voting Aye: Borgmeyer, Haake, Hiesberger, Kliegel, Scrivner and Wildhaber. 6 Councilmen voting Nay: Hawes, Riner, Stone and Walther. 4 Councilman Absent: None. 0 --------------- Presentation Those appearing in favor of cancelling the Street numbering from the program were: Gallery. Mr. Omer Klep, 6 18 Tomahawk Dr. - W. Noland Chappell, 1415 W. Main St. - Mrs. Donna Luke and Mrs. Helen Hamby, 2022 Norris Dr. Those appearing in opposition to cancelling the Street numbering were: Mr. Fred Vogel, Insurance Agent of 301 W. High - Mr. Josie Powell of the Mo. Farm Bureau - Mr. Clyde Garvin and Mr. Jack Jordon. --------------- Street The motion before the Council that the Street numbering be Numbering cancelled and the entire matter be referred to the Street Committee Motion. as called up for final action; Councilman Stone asked for the vote to be by calling the Roll. He was joined in this request by Councilman Riner. Councilmen voting Aye: 11aake, Hawes , Riner, Stone and Walther. 5 Councilmen voting Nay: Borgmeyer, Hiesberger, Kliegel, Scrivner and Wildhaber. 5 Councilmen absent: None. 0 The Mayor announced the vote as 5 to 5 and the Chair then voted Nay and declared the motion defeated, ---------------- Adjournment. Councilman Riner moved the Council adjourn under the rules. The motion passed.
