Councilmen present: Debo, Haake, Hawes, Hiesberger, Kliegel, Roll Call. Riner, Scrivner and Stone . Councilmen absent: None . A quorum was declared present. Hearing. Thomas Vetter, Attorney for Central Dairy, appeared in their behalf. There was no opposition. Ray Puckett, 1010 Holly Drive, presented petitions in opposition to Petitions - the construction of a connection street between Minnesota and Opposing Indiana Streets. street be- tween Minnesota & Indiana Sts. A request was received from W. C. Federal Comminications Commission for microwave permits, which complies with Section 12 of the Ordinance granting the license to said corporation. Planning & Mayor Christy submitted the following for Council approval: Zoning P. Pierre Dominique, Clover Lane, as a member of the Planning and Comm. Zoning Commission for a term of three years. Councilman Hiesbergermoved that the appointments be approved. The motion passed. Police Mayor Christy submitted the following for Council approval: Personnel Major General Lawrence L. Heinlein, 301 Ro Mar Place and Vernon 0. Board. Burkhalter, 1620 Taylor Drive, as members of the Police Personnel Board for terms of three years . Councilman Scrivner moved that the appointments be approved. The motion passed. Appointments The following were submitted by the Police Personnel Board for Police appointment as Policemen-Patrolmen in the Jefferson City Police Department. Department: Gary W. Downs, 4462 Childress St. , Columbus, Georgia Ralph L. Coshow, Mobile Haven, Linn, Missouri Councilman Scrivner moved that the appointments be approved. The motion passed. Street A request was received from Dave Stockman that the Council vacate a C ittee. portion of the alley located parallel and adjacent to his property located at 1009 W. Miller. The request was referred to the Street Committee. Mayor Christy: Your Utilities Committee recommends the following street light installations and payment of existing lights in annexed areas, if they meet with the Missouri Power and Light Master Plan. The Committee also recommends the installation of a fire hydrant, under the supervision of the Fire Chief. 1. Replace the existing light at 419 Oberman Place with 6800 lumen mercury vapor light. 2. Replace the existing light at the corner of Washington and Filmore streets with 6800 Lumen meraury vapor light. 172 Regular Council Meeting, February 5, 1968 3. Install 6800 lumen mercury Vapor light on the corner of Country Club Drive and Hobbs Lane West. 6. Install 6800 lumen mercury vapor light on the north street part of Hobbs Lane. 7. Install 6800 lumen mercury vapor light on Country Club Drive between the west city limits and South Ten Mile Drive. 8. Install 6800 lumen mercury vapor light on the corner of Country Club Drive and Hobbs Lane East. 9. Install 6800 lumen mercury vapor light at 1608 South Taylor Drive. 10. Install 6800 lumen mercury vapor light at 1620 and 1622 Taylor Drive. 11. Install twelve (12) 6800 Lumen mercury vapor lights on Chestnut between Carol and Fairmount. 12. BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council, City of Jefferson, Mo. , that the Missouri Power and Light Company make the following in- stallations in accordance with recommendations presented to the City Council by its Committee on Public Utilities, if they meet with the Master Plan of the Missouri Power and Light Company. 1 .
