Special Council Meeting, October 23, 1967
Mayor Christy presided.
Roll Call. ' Councilmen present: Haake, Hawes, Kliegel, Riner, Scrivner, Stone, and
Van Loo.
Councilmen absent: Debo and Hiesberger, absent with leave.
A quorum was declared present.

The Special Council Meeting was called to bring the liquor ordinance of the
City of Jefferson into conformity with the State Law.
1Bill No. Bill No. 73, introduced by Councilmen Riner and Van Loo, entitled:
73. "An Ordinance of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, repealing Sections 720 and
Liquor Ord. 721 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1956 (being
Revision. Sections 10 and 11 of Ordinance No. 3745 of said City) prohibiting the sale of
intoxicating liquor within the City at various times and enacting in lieu thereof
two new sections relating generally to the same subject. "
On motion of Councilman Riner the Bill was read the third time by title and was
placed on final passage and was passed by the following vote as Ordinance No.
' 7959.
Councilmen voting Aye: Haake, Hawes, Kliegel, Riner, Scrivner, Stone,
and Van Loo.
Councilmen voting Nay: None.
Councilmen Absent: Debo and Hiesberger, absent with leave.
Adjournment. : Councilman Riner moved that the Council adjourn, under the rules. The motion
passed.
