Councilmen Present: Haake, Hawes, Hiesberger, Kliegel, Van Loo and Willcoxon. 6 Councilmen Absent: Debo, Riner, Scrivner and Stone, absent with leave, 4 A quorum was-declared present. --- ----------- Mayor Christy explained that the purpose of the Special Meeting is to consider for introduction and final passage of a Bill to set up a Special Election for the issuance of $8, 500, 000 Revenue Bonds for Interco, Inc. --------------- 113ill No. 20, introduced by Councilmen Kliegel, Haake, Van Loo, Willcoxon, Bill No. 20. Hawes and Hiesberger, entitled: S pecial Election "An Ordinance approving a project for industrial development and calling a Industrial special election in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the purpose of .,Revenue Bonds submitting to the qualified voters of said City the proposition to issue the in the amount Industrial Revenue Bonds of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, to the amount of of $8, 500, 000 $8, 500, 000 for the purpose of purchasing and constructing an industrial plant to Interco, Inc. to be leased to Interco Incorporated, a Delaware Corporation, for manufacturing and Industrial development purposes, including real estate, buildings, fixtures and machinery, said bonds to be payable solely from the revenues derived from a project for industrial development, and not to be a general obligation of said City, designating the time for holding said election, fixing the polling places of said election, prescribing the form of ballot to be used thereat, and author- izing the City Clerk to give notice of said election. Read first and second time by title and on motion of Councilman Kliegel, the rules were suspended and the Bill was read the third time by title and was placed on final passage and was passed by the following vote as Ordinance No. Councilmen voting Aye- flaakc, Hawes, Hiesberger, Kliegel, Van Loo and Willcoxon. 6 Councilmen voting Nay: None, 0 Councilmen absent: Debo, Miner, Scrivner and Stone, absent with leave. 4 -------------- i� On motion of Councilman Willcoxon, the Council adjourned, under, the rules.
