MINUTES
FEBRUARY 2, 1994
I. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:
Chairman Whiteman called the meeting to order at 7 p.m.
Committeemen Whiteman, VanNoy, Brown, and Goodman were present.

II. MINUTES:
The January 4, 1994 minutes were presented. Goodman moved to
approve the minutes as presented. VanNoy seconded and the motion
carried unanimously.
III. RECONSIDERATION OF SEASON PASS
COMMITTEE BY THE CITY COUNCIL:

He estimated the average number of

The Committee considered several alternatives to the prior
recommendation. After a lengthy discussion, VanNoy moved to
recommend to the City Council an amended season pass fee as

During the months of July and August of 1994,
pass holders playing on weekends (Saturdays and
before 4 p.m. on Sundays) shall be subject to a $5.00

AND that the City offer a discount coupon book at $150 for 10
green fees which should be transferable but non-refundable and
that staff should design such books and review the layout with
the Committee at the next meeting. Goodman seconded timmilimp
IV. POLICY ISSUES:
The Committee received two draft policy statements, one
regarding the refunding of season pass fees and one related to
free golf privileges. After brief discussion, these were moved
to the ,ieA L meeting agenda.
V. KITCHEN REMODELING:
Mary Clemmer outlined proposed improvements and toured the
kitchen area with the Committee. Discussion of lease -purchase
opportunities, city crew construction of walls, and other matters
were discussed. The Committee asked for additional information
and asked to reschedule this item to the next agenda. It was so
ordered.
