AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DECLARING ITS INTENTION
AND DESIRE TO HAVE CERTAIN TERRITORY WITHIN
ITS BOUNDARIES ANNEXED TO THE CONSOLIDATED
COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City herer
by finds that said City has within it certain territory hereinafter de��
cribed which is adjacent to the Consolidated County Fire Protection
District, and that the boundaries of said territory as hereinafter set .
forth were previously approved for description by the County Boundary
Commission on July 25, 1963, The City Council further finds that on
February 6, 1963, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors by order
approved the proposed annexation of said territory as hereinafter des-
cribed located within the boundaries of the City of Temple City of the
Sixth Class to the Consolidated County Fire Protection District pursu-
ant to a previous request of the City Council of the City of Temple Cit.
SECTION 2. That said boundaries of said territory entirely
within the City of Temple City and proposed to be annexed to the Con- '
idated County Fire Prctection District are as follows:
Beginning at a point in the northerly line of Wendon Avenue,
50 feet wide, as shown on map of Tract No. 180002 recorded in
Book 441, pages 38 and 39 of Maps, in the office of the Re-
corder of the County of Los Angeles, distant easterly thereon
60.00 feet from the southerly prolongation of the easterly line
of Lot 4 of said tract; thence northerly parallel with said
easterly line to the easterly prolongation of the •northerly line
of said lot; thence westerly along said last mentioned prolonga-
tion to the boundary of Consolidated County Fire Protection Dis-
trict, as same existed on January 4, 1963•; thence southerly and
easterly along said boundary to the point of beginning.
Containing: 0.000 Square Miles
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of.Temole City by
and on behalf of said City hereby declares its intention and desire to
have said territory embraced and included within said district and said
City does hereby declare that said territory as described be annexed to
said District.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance and cause the same to be posted in the manner required by
law, and said Ordinance shall take effect 3.0 days after final passage.
The City Clerk is further directed to file a certified copy of this
Ordinance with Secretary of State with instructions to the Secretary of
State to hold this Ordinance 30 days from the date of the passage of
said Ordinance and to thereafter file the same and report to the City
Clerk when it was filed-; and the City 1erk is further directed to file
a certified copy of this Ordinance with,. the Board of Supervisors of Los
Angeles County, and the County withiniwnich said City and territory
are located.
