MINUTES
JANUARY 4, 1994
I. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:
The Chair called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. in the Golf
Clubhouse. Ted Whiteman, Chair, Frank Brown, Jeff Goodman,
and Rick VanNoy of the committee, a quorum, attended. Also
attending were Carl Noss, Mary Clemmer, Mike Anderson, Harvey
Bergstrom, Herb Keen and Bud Schmidt.
II. STAFF REPORTS:
Bud Schmidt reported that Charlie Denham had left and arrived
safely in New Jersey.
Mary Clemmer asked how to address problems with the clubhouse
kitchen. The Committee asked her to prepare a layout, cost
estimate and time schedule outlining the storage and facility
needs to present at the next meeting.
III. 1994 GOLF FEES: ++++++++++
The Committee reviewed thei earlier discussion. Mr. Bergstrom
and Mr. Keene advocated a fee tructure that preferred local
persons. The Committee outlined the difficulty of determining
who was local and who was not. Bergstrom suggested that locals
have tournament fees waived or, that a discount be given for
membership in the local golf a sociation, or that persons living
inside certain geographical bo ndaries be given the local
discount.
