A quorum was declared present .
After considerable discussion involving an explanation of grouting
sat the off-street parking facility now under construction at the
{southeastern corner of Madison Street and Capitol Avenue by Hari
Van Hoefen, of the architectural firm, Don Cure, contractor,
I'Mr. Hunning, soil engineer, and various other engineers, in line wit

11Following a suggestion by Mr. Jobe, Mr. Willcoxon offered a motion, ;
; seconded by Mrs. Fisher, that the council give the contractors a j
ivote of confidence until such time that any charges can be proved. 1
, The motion won unamimous approval.

After several questions, Mr. Riner said he wanted additional time f
I�,study before he made any further statements.
Street POn motion by Mr. Willcoxon, seconded by Mr. Scrivner, the followings
Committee if Street Committee report submitted by Mr. Dorr, was approved:
Report. "The matter of replacing an 18-inch pipe on Crest Street with 30- j
;:inch pipe, the committee recommends that 18-inch pipe be left in 1!
,'place and drop inlets on Crest Street be redesigned so that they r
( will carry the water off Crest Street. Also we recommend that the Ij
; city negotiate for a vacant lot on the up-stream side.
The request to open street between Indiana Street and Minnesota
