A quorum was declared present . ;t
Minutes of the last meeting were approved.
The matter of leasing the City Hall store rooms recently I
acated by Millsap .Bros. was discussed by the Council. j
On motion of Mr. Willcoxon, seconded by Mr. R. Jobe, the
6ty Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids for rental of the
above property.
It was moved by Mr. Mager and seconded by Mr. Scrivner tha
bctober 15th be set as the date

The motion was adopted.
( Request for a fire hydrant at Main and Binder was received;,
from Rev. Francis O' Duignan .
The request was referred to the Water and Light Committee
tnd the Fire Chief was instructed to measure distances for fire '
ydrants on Main Street and Binder Drive.
Mr. Willcoxon reported that the Finance Committee recommen,s
that the City Treasurer place two thirds of the proceeds from the CI
;sale of the $900,000.00 Improvement Bonds in the "Public .Streets andij
expressways Fund" and one third in the "Parking Lots Fund" and that rt
`the $9,078 . 10 accrued interest be placed in the "Interest and Sinking
;Fund" .
The report was approved. '

It was moved by Mrs . Fisher and seconded by R. Jobe, that
the City pay expenses; for members of the Council who want to Attend
'the Municipal league meetirig in St. Juseph, Missouri .
The motion was adopted.
;? Mrs . fisher asked that the City Attorney draw an ordinance;;
,:in regard to mufflers on Inutor vehicles.
Resolution No. 90 . ---_--
Resolution Nu. 90 for the improvement of the roadway of
;Miller Street from the west curb lime of Madison Street: to the east
�c urb line of Jefferson Street, in the City of Jefferson, Missouri
as adopted.
On motion made and seconded, tile Council recessed subject �€
