A quorum was declared present.
The following report was received from the Committee of the
jWhole.
The Committee of the Whole met on Friday, August 299 1958 to
consider the bids on the garbage and trash hauling contract. After
a written ballot of the eight members present, John Rathouz had
{ six votes.
i Mr. Hager made the motion and Mr. Scrivner seconded, that the
( Committee of the Whole recommend to the City Council that the
contract be let to Mr. John Rathouz, having the lowest and best bid.
Motion carried.

The City Attorney was requested to contact Mr. Rathouz in f
regard to adding a clause to the contract providing for the settling'
of any disagreements as to charges to be made to Merchants, etc.
{ It was moved by Mr. Hager and seconded by Mr. Condit that the
five council members on the City Health Board act as a Board of
Appeals on such matters.
j The motion was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Hager, seconded by Mr. Condit, the Council
! approved the installation of two mercury vapor lights at the
; Armory Building, instead of the two lumen lights originally �
;authorized. {
