A quorum was declared present.
j� The City Attorney was instructed to advise the Street
Commissioner the type of sign to be placed at the intersection of
Test Main Street and West High Street. l
IThe Heating Inspector was instructed to look into the matter �
Hof dense smoke coming from the Montgomery Ward and Tweedie Shoe !
(Factory smoke stacks and report back to the Council.
The City Engineer was instructed to take care of the matter of
;'the street number for the Armory Building. i
The City Attorney was instructed to prepare an ordinance in If
kegard to naming the streets at the Armory site. ,
(" On motion of Mr. Willcoxen, seconded by Mr. Darr, the followin�

City Election to be held on April 1, 1958, being the same places to

"An ordinance relating to right-of-way of all. motor vehicles
approaching and entering the iitersection of West Plain and West llig;h
treets, declaring that the operators of motor vehicles being operated
�n an easterly direction in the 1400 Block of West Main, who intend to
proceed east on West Main, shall yield the right-of-way to the
gperators of motor vehicles being operated in a westerly direction
in the 1300 block of West High Street , when said two motor vehicles
opproach the intersection of Main and high Street at approximately
the same time, and providing; a penalty for violation .
