Final The final report of Horner and Shifrin, Consulting Engineers, on
Report of the Construction of Storm Drainage Facilities for the City of
Horner & Jefferson was given by Mr. Bloss and Mr. Wiseley with the re-
Shifrin. commendation that pending a possible Missouri River flood protectio
project by the Corps of Engineers, initial planning by the City
be limited to the local improvements proposed for the eight water-
sheds. Construction of these facilities would be unaffected by
lany future construction required in a Missouri River Flood protectioln
} plan.
Further action beyond the above recommendations does not appear to
the advisabel until it has been determined whether or not a flood
! protection project can be just- ified and constructed by the Corps
,! Of Engineers.
IThe report is to be revised to consider proper financing for the
above projects.
