Lockport Street Attendees: Tim Stetenfeld, Steve Pre ze, Michael Konrad, Greg Schaef er, Harold Oliver , Michael Blaylock, Mike Paris, and Troy Strange . Also: Brian Murphy, Michael Garrigan, Jon Proulx, Amy De Boni , and Rick Kaczanko . The meeting was called to order at 7:4 0 a .m. Anna Trost, Pat Harbour, and Brian Davis were absent. Public Comments: Mr. Ibrahim introduced himself. Business Meeting Motion was made by Harold Oliver , second by Michael Blaylock , to approve t he minutes of the July 10 , 2013 Meeting. Motion passed: 7 -0 . Motion was made by Steve Preze, second by Mike Paris, to approve the 2014 Meeting Schedule. Motion passed: 7 -0 . Micha el Garrigan highlighted the results of the retailer retention interviews . The Task Force then disc ussed each of the interviews in -depth. Michael Garrigan discussed the Route 30 corridor. Speedway is interested in the site located at the corner of Route 3 0 and Renwick. The potential of a TIF District for the Route 30 corridor was also discussed and it was the consensus of the Task Force to hold off on a TIF District at this time. Staff provided updates on the Coil Plus and Allways Precision expansions. B oth projects are underway. Steve Preze explained the Accelerated Training for Illinois Manufacturing (ATIM) Program which provides training for jobs currently available with area manufacturers. Several local industrial businesses brought up the issue of f inding skilled labor and this program may be helpful to them. The Village will be hosting a seminar on the program for local businesses in November. The meeti ng adjou rned at approximately 8:55 a.m .
