Grant of " Mr. Richard L. Henry, representative from the Federal Housing and

APW-Mo-73G "WHEREAS, there has been filed with the Government in behalf of the '!

; December 21, 1962, for Federal assistance under the Public Works
,,Acceleration Act, Public Law 87-658, and the United States of j
;!America, acting by and through the Regional Director of Community ;t
:; Facilities, has transmitted to the Applicant for acceptance a Grant :l
I� Offer dated January 27, 1964 of Federal assistance in connection I
jiwith the Project referred to in said application and described in
said Offer; and
?;WHEREAS, said Grant Offer has been fully considered in accordance
iiwith all pertinent rules of procedure and legal requirements, and
!'made a part of the Applicant' s public records; and
'; WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable and in the public interest that said
Grant Offer be accepted;
:, NOW THEREFORE, be it Resolved by the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
that said Grant Offer, a frue and correct copy of which, including I
'` the Special Conditions and the Terms and Conditions, is hereto
; attached, be and the same hereby is accepted without reservation or"

provisions thereof. j

Resolution. iThe following resolution was presented by Mr. Robinson:
"Thank You" "WHEREAS, Jefferson City, Missouri had made an application for a
to Senators ' grant of Federal Funds under the Accelerated Public Works Program,
Symington & Wand WHEREAS, it was recognized by the citizens of the community that
Lond & the granting of the requested funds would be of great assistance in '
Congress- the construction of the system of sewers and disposal plant for the :`

Ichord. WHEREAS, the two United States Senators from Missouri and the
Congressman from the 8th Missouri Congressional District have been;

be sent to the two Senators and to the Congressman."
