" Resolution ;" The following resolution was read by Mayor Christy: !j APW-Mo-73G "WHEREAS, there has been filed with the Government in behalf of the '! :' City of Jefferson, Missouri, Project Number APW-Mo-73G dated I ; December 21, 1962, for Federal assistance under the Public Works ,,Acceleration Act, Public Law 87-658, and the United States of j ;!America, acting by and through the Regional Director of Community ;t :; Facilities, has transmitted to the Applicant for acceptance a Grant :l I� Offer dated January 27, 1964 of Federal assistance in connection I jiwith the Project referred to in said application and described in said Offer; and ?;WHEREAS, said Grant Offer has been fully considered in accordance iiwith all pertinent rules of procedure and legal requirements, and !'made a part of the Applicant' s public records; and '; WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable and in the public interest that said Grant Offer be accepted; :, NOW THEREFORE, be it Resolved by the City of Jefferson, Missouri, that said Grant Offer, a frue and correct copy of which, including I '` the Special Conditions and the Terms and Conditions, is hereto ; attached, be and the same hereby is accepted without reservation or" ;; qualification, and the Applicant agrees to comply with the provisions thereof. j ; Passed by the aforementioned governing body of the Applicant on the,' 28th Day of January, 1964. WHEREAS, the two United States Senators from Missouri and the Congressman from the 8th Missouri Congressional District have been; r `� I off of very great assistance in finally obtaining the approval by the T' Federal Government of a large part of the funds requested, Now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council does hereby on beh ' f -.' of all the Citizens of the City of Jefferson, extend a sincere and , heartfelt "Thank You" to Senator Stuart Symington, Senator Edward V.E' Long and Congressman Richard H.
