No-petition for this change was received, but the action was re- quested by Street Commissioner Charles Enloe. He reported several persons have been killed or injured at this intersection and be- lieves a better street light would help motorists to see it is a j four-way stop. Similar complaints have been received from Rael Amos, who lives at 223 W. Atchison . The Committee believes for the sake of safety a brighter light should be installed at this intersection . 6. Remove the incandescent street light on the traffic island at Fairmount Boulevard and Hillcrest street and install a new 6,800 mercury vapor light on a pole directly north and across Hillerest . No petition for this change was received, but a request was made by Miss Dorene Cummock of 823 Fairmount.
