APPROVING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT -
MCMANIMON, SCOTLAND & BAUMANN, LLC-
HERE, AS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized It -gat services with regard
various legal services; and
HEREAS, the law firm of McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC possesses the
luisite experience and expertise to provide said specialized legal services; and
RAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
purpose. Account# 2-01-20-155-299
, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
1. That the law finn of McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC is
hereby appointed special legal counsel at an hourly rate'set pursuant
to the firm's existing contract as set by the Borough's Chief
Executive Officer for a maximum cost not to exceed $75,000.00.
2. 'That a copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded to the Borough's
Purchasing Department.
3. This action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to N.J,S.A. 40A:1 I-5(l)(a) in accordance with the
Borough's Fair and Open Process as authorized by law and subject
to the availability of funds.
