Resolution Rose: RESOLUTION Declaring Nomination WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 7444 of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, of ; relates to the holding of primary elections in the City for nomina- Candidates . jtions of candidates for City office in Jefferson City, Missouri, �� and WHEREAS, Section 10 . 130 of the ordinance provides that when a primary election is required within said city that it be held on the ; second Tuesday of March of the year, and WHEREAS, the second Tuesday of March in the year 1964 Calls on ;! the 10th day of March, 1964, and Ii WHEREAS, Section 10 . 150 of the ordinance provides that all declarations of candidacy for city office must be filed by candidates ; for said offices no later than 5 :00p.m. of any day that is at least ;! fifteen days prior to the date of the election , and 4964 WHEREAS, in the year of 1964, the day oC Monday, February 24, is the last day which if fifteen days before the day of ; March 10 , 1964, and WHEREAS, in the year of 1964, all declarations for candidacy to city office must be filed by 5: 00 p .m. on Monday, February 24 , 1964, and "1. Within 24 hours of the last day and hour for the filing of declarations of candidacy for any primary election , the City Council shall convene and canvass the declarations filed with the City Clerk. 2.
