Reiman — Mayor Re: Proposal for Professional Engineering Services Outbound and Topographic Survey Block 5.02, Block 102 — Amax/US Metals Refining Company Borough of Carteret, Middlesex County, New Jersey Proposal No.: 2022-294 Dear Mayor Pursuant to your request, we are pleased to present our proposal has been prepared for professional land surveying services for the above -mentioned site It is our understanding that the Borough of Carteret is seeking to acquire an easement within Lot 5.02, Block 102 for the purpose of access to the Southern Riverwalk extension. We also understand that the Borough is seeking a complete outbound and topographic survey of the property for the purposes of redevelopment. With this being said, we anticipate that the following scope of services will be required: A) Outbound and Topographic Survey Under this task, CME will prepare an outbound and topographic survey for a Lot 5.02 in Block 102. B) Access Easement Preparation The survey prepared by our office will be utilized to plot the Borough's requested access easement. We understand this easement will generally follow the existing paved access road along the southern boundary of the site and terminate in an area proposed for a future parking lot and boardwalk access ramp. Services shall include: • Easement placement to be provided by client; and, • Preparation of easement sketches and descriptions. We will provide the necessary engineering services as described above based upon the cost breakdown as noted below: A.
