Ted Whiteman Rick VanNoy Phil Gilman Jeff Goodman Jeanne Campbell Bill McMurray Jeff motioned the minutes of the June 12th meeting be approved Rick 2nd motion caned unanamously. New Business Ted said, that City Council acted on allowing advisory committee members To live outside city limits. Ted belived it was a motion,but was not possitive. Regarding tournament play City Council would like nine holes open for play during touranaments. Discussion followed. Budget 96/97 Mike Combs'presentation on entire budget was long. Ted mentioned that the G.C.A.0 should write a performance appraisal to attempt to get Mike a larger salary. Several long discussions on the budget. The budget was approved by the G.C.A.C. Bill made a motion to recommend to city council that they except the budget at 679,789 subtracting out the maintenance facility from capital improvement at total of 520,500. The G.C.A.0 reccommends that the maintenance facility expenditure is necessary, but should be put into a long range plan, for funding over a two to five year period or what the superintendent deemed necessary. Rick VanNoy seconded the motion. The Committee voted unanamousy in favor of the motion. City Ordenence Committee Discussion. On not allowing non playing public on the golf course. There will be similar signs put up on S.M.R that are on exsting golf course. Discussion on getting the legalities taken care of so golf carts can drive on the streets to get to the golf course. It was mentioned that this would similiar to the snowmobile rules Old Business Irrigation System Judge Carey appoved the requset from the G.C.A.C. and the City to proceed with the irrigation project as proposed, Ted Whiteman, Jeanne Campbell and Mike Combs where prestent. Beverage Cart Mike said Mary had been using his utility cart on weekends. Mike also mentioned there would be a demo 19th hole cart here for the ameatur, the cost of the cart is 9,500. The G.C.A.C. mentioned that Mary help with payments on the Beverage Cart so that the cost doesn't all come out of the budget. Staff Report Carl: Said everything was going fine and he was stressed with the ameature coming up. Mary Was not present Meeting Adjourned at 11:00... Next meeting will be August 14, 1996.
