J. Cook at 6:30 P.M ROLL CALL : Present : Pres . J. Cook, Sec. R. Meszaros, Trustee s S. Cousins Absent: Trustees M. Fisher and A. Grod Guests Present: Tom Sawyer , John Falduto of Sawyer -Falduto Asset Management LLC, Attorney Rick Reimer of Reimer&Karlson, LLC , and Amy Marsico of Lauterbach & Amen L LP. Members Present : None Approval of Minutes: A motion was made by Trustee Meszaros to approve the minutes of the October 10 , 2013 meeting, s econded by Trustee Cousins . Voice vote taken. Motion carried. Public Comment: None Financial Reports: A motion was made by Trustee Meszaros and seconded by Trustee Cousins to approve the monthly financial reports for September, October and November 2013 as presented . Roll call vote: J. Cook -yes, R.Mesz aros -yes, S.Cousin s -yes., M. Fisher -abs, A. Grod -abs . Motion carried . Application for Membership - None Application for Benefits – FYI Officer Pelton FMLA three weeks – leaves 9 week break in service. Details in her pension file. Also, Officer Kopek pu rchased 2 years of his military service. Details in his pension file. Unfinished Business: None New Business: Tom Sawyer and John Falduto presented the Investment Performance Report for the 4 th Quarter 2014. After some discussion a motion was made by Trustee Cousins and seconded by Trustee Cook. Roll call vote: J.Cook -yes, R.Meszaros -yes, S.Cousins -yes., M. Fisher -abs, A. Grod -abs. Motion carried. The complete report will be on file in the pension office for review .
MINUTES OF THE PLAINFIELD POLICE PENSION MEETING JANUARY 9, 2014 PAGE 2 Attorney Report: Mr. Reimer reported that the Caliendo Hearing will be on February 6, 2014 at 7 p.m. He will publish the hearing. Mr. Reimer stated that in his opinion the execut ive session for Officer Adrew Grod on January 14, 2010, Chief Donald Bennett on January 13, 2011 and Officer Glen Sandmire on May 14, 2012 could be release d for the public. A motion was made by Trustee Meszaros to release minutes of the above mentioned exe cutive sessions stating that there is no need to remain private. Seconded by Trustee Cook. Roll call vote taken J.Cook -yes, R.Meszaros -yes and S.Cousins -yes, M.Fisher -abs, A.Grod -abs. Motion carried. Trustee Cousins asked Mr. Reimer if his office sent a letter to the Village of Plainfield in December with our tax levy. Mr. Reimer stated that yes it did go out. It was sent by Attorney Brian LaBardi. Mr. Reimer said that this letter will be sent to the Village of Plainfield every year in December with our recommended tax levy. Mr. Reimer recommended that we get a copy of the levy from the Village of Plainfield. Barb will contact the Village Clerk for the levy. Closed Session – None Adjourment: With no further business Pres. Cook made a motion to a djourn at 8:00 pm seconded by Trustee Cousins . Voice vote. Motion carried.
