I apologize for not getting back to you earlier. After we got off the phone I realized these units are heat pumps and we do not have the variable speed compressor option available on
packaged heat pumps at this time. We do however have the single zone VAV option which allows for modulation of the supply fan to enhance passive dehumidification and get a 4.3% increase
in part load value. The overall EER is not affected by this option.
Below is a brief analysis of the single zone VAV option added to both units. The simple payback is estimated at 10 years. Please let me know if you have any questions or want to further
