AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ADDING SECTIONS 4263.1
AND 4263.2 TO THE TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE
TO PROHIBIT THE MAINTENANCE OF CERTAIN CARTS,
WAGONS AND STANDS WITHIN THREE HUNDRED FEET
OF ANY PUBLIC SCHOOL GROUND IN THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY, AND LIMITING VENDING TIME IN ALL
OTHER LOCATIONS.
The City Council of the City of Temple City does or-
dain as follows:
Sections 4263.1 and 4263.2 are hereby added to the
Municipal Code of the City of Temple City, to read as follows:
"Section 4263.1. No licensee shall either as
owner, agent, employee, or otherwise, keep, main-
tain or conduct, or to cause, or permit to be kept,
maintained or conducted, any lunch, meal, or eat-
ing cart, wagon or stand, in or upon any public
street, sidewalk, alley, court or other public
place within three hundred (300) feet of the
nearest property line of any property upon which
a public or private school building is located,
or nearest property line of any public park."
"Section 4263.2. No licensee or any person
having charge, custody or control of any cart,
wagon or other vehicle shall allow such vehicle
to remain within the limits of any one block
for the purpose of vending at retail from such
vehicle, for a period longer than ten (10) min-
utes in any one day, except while vending to the
residents of such block."
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Temple City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 10th
day of February , 1963, by the following roll call vote:
AYES :Councilmen- Dickason, Fitzjohn, Merritt, Tyrell, Nunamaker
NOES :Councilmen -None

at a regular meeting of the City Council on January 27, 1964, and
adopted at a regular meeting of th e City Council held on February
10, 1964, by the following roll call vote:
