February 12, 1945.
A special meeting of Council was held in the office of
Mayor Dutton, at 5 :00 P.M. today, and was attended by Mayor Dut-
ton, who presided, and Councilmen Biotin, Walsh, and Lovell.
The meeting was called for the following purposes:
1. To adopt a resolution authorizing the Mayor to request
the F. W.. A. to amend the original request of Docket
No. Ga. 9 -244 (NF) to include additional work as shown
on report of Messrs. Wiedeman & Singleton.
2. To authorize the Mayor to employ Wiedeman and Singleton
to draw the neoessary plans and specifications for the
additional work to be done under the F. W. A. grant.
3. To authorize the Mayor to employ Robert A. Wall to main-
tain all the rolling equipment in running order.
Councilman Biotin moved that a resolution be adopted auth-
orizing the Mayor to request the F.W.A. to amend the original
request on Docket. No. Ga. 9 -244 to include additional work out-
lined in report of Wiedeman & Singleton, Councilman Lovell seconded
and the Motion passed.
RESOLUTION
Councilman Walsh moved that the Mayor be authorized to employ
the firm of Wiedeman & Singleton to draw necessary plans and speci-
fications for additional work to be done under F. W. A. grant, it
was seconded by Counoilman Lovell and the motion passed.
Counoilman Lovell moved that the Mayor be authorized to em-
ploy Robert A. Wall to keep all of the rolling equipment in good mech --
anioal condition, the Town furnishing all parts, it was seconded
by Councilman Biotin and the motion passed.
There being no further business Council adjourned subject to
the call of the Mayor.
