RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE MIDPENINSULA
REGIONAL OPEN SPACE DISTRICT APPROVING BENEFIT ADJUSTMENTS
FOR EMPLOYEES REPRESENTED BY THE FIELD EMPLOYEES
ASSOCIATION AND THE OFFICE, SUPERVISORY, AND MANAGEMENT
EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors throug h Resolution R-21-29 o n August 25, 202 1,
approved th e Memorandum o f Understanding between the Midpeninsula Re giona l Open Space
District and the Midpeninsula Reg ional Open Sp ace District Field Emplo yees A ssociation for a
tenn of July 1, 202 1 through June 3 1, 2024; and
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors through Resolution R-21-30 on Au gust 25 , 202 1,
approved adjusted Salmies , Benefits and Tenns and Co nditi ons for the Di stri ct 's unrepresented
Office , S up ervisor and Management Emplo yees fo r fis cal year s 202 1, 2023 and 2024; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors through Resolution R-22-34 o n Augus t I 0, 2022,
approved Tetms of Employment for Employees Represe nted by the Mid penins ul a Rangers Peace
Officers Association , for a one-year tenn from Jul y 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023.
WHEREAS , the District seeks to a li gn the employer contributi o ns to medical benefits
for all District employees to the exte nt p ossib l e pursuant to it s co mpensatio n policies; and
WHEREAS, the District seeks to implement a change to the Di s tri ct co nttibution to
med i cal in suran ce for emp loyees represen ted by the Field Emplo yees A ssoc iation, and
unrepresented Office Superv isory, and Management Employees .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED as follow s:
1. The Board hereby approves the fo ll owing D istrict ( employer) conttibutio n to medical
insurance for employees represented by the Field Employees Association ("FEA"), an d
the unrepresented Office, Supervi sory, and Management Emp loyees:
FEA and OSM employee District Contr ibution categorv
Employee Only $857.06
Employee Plus O ne househo ld $1,7 14.12 member
Emp loyee Plus Two or More $2,228.36 household members
2. T he Gen eral Manager is directed to formali ze these chan ges in a sid e letter w ith the FEA .
3. The General Manager is directed to amend the Personne l Policies and Procedures to
reflect these benefit adjustm ents.
4. These adj u stments shall be effective upon the fir st full pay period a fter Board adoption .

PASS ED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Midpeninsula Regional
Open Space District on September 28, 2022 at a Regular Meeting thereof, by the following vote:
AYES: CYR, HASSETT , HOLMAN, KERSTEEN-TUCKER, KISHIMOTO, RIFFLE,
SIEMENS
