TAX CANCELLATION
WHEREAS, Block Pipeline, Lots 2 and 3 were charged a late fee for payment of
taxes in the amount of $310.75; and
WHEREAS, the Tax Office posted the payment on 8/17/22, for taxes due on
8/l/2022;and
WHEREAS, the taxpayer provided a US Postal Service Certified Mail return receipt
showing that the actual payment was received and signed off on July 20, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector is recommending that the late fee be cancelled.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Borough of
Carteret, County of Middlesex, New Jersey, that the Tax Collector cancel taxes in the
amount of $310.75.
Adopted this l9's day of January, 2023
and certified as a true copy of the
original on January 20, 2023.
