FY22 budget Airport      Library    TIMELINE: asap Information Systems      Economic Development  Originator  SUMMARY STATEMENT: The McCall Police Department has been awarded a grant in the amount of $22,094 from the Small, Rural, and Tribal Body-Worn Camera Program offered by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, U.S. Department of Justice and Justice & Security Strategies to support implementation of body-worn camera (BWC) programs. The estimated total cost to provide BWCs to McCall Police Department’s twelve (12) sworn officers is $44,188. The grant must be matched 1:1, so the local match commitment is $22,094 and grant funds will be provided as reimbursement for costs incurred. The grant award agreement is attached and can be executed by the City Manager on behalf of the McCall Police Department. The agreement stipulates standard grant management protocol and rules for federal funds, monthly reporting, and records retention of three (3) years.  RECOMMENDED ACTION: Accept grant award and authorize the City Manager to sign the grant agreement.
