SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The city recently advertised for an At-Large position on the Golf Course Advisory Committee (GCAC) both the Star News and on the city website for two full weeks. Two people have written
letters expressing interest in the At-Large position: Dave Petty and Tony Araquistain. The GCAC reviewed both applicants and recommends Mr. Araquistain be appointed by the Council.
Mr. Araquistain has attended several GCAC meetings this year, is familiar with the current issues at the course, and has a history of service on a Golf Advisory Committee at another
public golf course.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Appoint Tony Araquistain to fill the open member at large position on the Golf Course Advisory Committee.
