ORDINANCE NO. 64 -130
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY,
CALIFORNIA, CORRECTING THE ZONING MAP
ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 64 -124
The City Council of the City of Temple City does ordain as
SECTION 1. The Zoning Map adopted by Ordinance No. 64 -124
is hereby amended to correct certain errors in its preparation, as
follows:
(a) That certain area on the sheet attached hereto, markec:
Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof as though set forth in full, is
corrected pursuant to the description shown thereon.
(b) That certain area on the sheet attached hereto, mark-
ed Exhibit "B ", and made a part hereof as though set forth in full,
is corrected pursuant to the description shown thereon.
(c) That certain area on the sheet attached hereto, mark-
ed Exhibit "C ", and made a part hereof as though set forth in full,
is corrected pursuant to the description shown thereon.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage. This ordinance is found to be an ordinance necess-
ary for the public peace, health and safety, pursuant to Section
36937(b) of the Government Code. The facts in support of the declar-
ation of urgency, hereby made, are as follows: a new zoning ordin-
ance for the City of Temple City, Ordinance No. 63 -112, was adopted.
on September 9, 1963, the effective date of said ordinance to be the
date upon which an ordinance adopting a new zoning map was adopted
and effective; that on March 9, 1964, Ordinance No. 64 -124 was adopt-
ed, its effective date to be April 8, 1964; that hence concurrently
on the said April 8, 1964, Ordinances No. 63 -112 and No. 64 -124 will
become the law of the City of Temple City; that in the preparation of
the Zoning Map, adopted by said Ordinance No. 64 -124 certain discrep-
ancies between the actual zoning directed by the City Council to be
placed thereon and that actually placed thereon have been ascertained
that is is essential to prevent public confusion and many problems
related thereto that the map and zoning ordinance be as free of error
as humanly possible in such a large undertaking; that hence the City
Council finds this ordinance to be one necessary for the public peace
health, and safety, and it shall, as aforestated become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of March, 1964, by the
following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Dickason, Fitzjohn, Merritt, Tyrell, Nunamaker

Rosemead Blvd. and Longden Ave., southeast corner.
Change R -4 on Longden, second parcel, south side
of Longden to C -2. Is existing C -2 on on old map.
M -1 below Lower Azusa Road. Change M -1 to M -2
per present map. Area bounded by rear of lots
fronting on Lower Azusa on the north, Los Angeles
County Flood Control channel on the southeast
and even with the end of Gidley on the east.
A strip extending westerly from a point due south
of the southeast corner of Lot 25, a distance of
6.5 ft. westerly across the northerly portions
of Lots 15, 16, 17 and 18 of Tract 12977 to a
point 8.5 ft. southerly of a point on the souther-
ly line of Lot 21, 60 ft. easterly of'a point 110.54
ft. easterly of the west line of subject lot.
Thence northerly to a westerly prolongation of the
south line of Lot 25 and thence easterly to the
point of beginning. Plus the westerly 60 ft. of
the easterly portion of Lots 21 and 22 of subject
tract. Location 5803 Encinita and 5730 and 5736
Loma. Change aforementioned from R -1 to R -3.

I, Marjorie A. Woodruff, do hereby certify that I have been duly
appointed Deputy City Clerk of the City of Temple City, California,
and that the foregoing Ordinance No. 64 -130 was adopted as an
Urgency Ordinance at a regular meeting of theCity Council held
on March 23, 1964, by the following roll call vote=
AYES: Councilmen - Dickason, Fitzjohn, Merritt, Tyrell, Nunamaker
NOES: Councilmen -None
