APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #3
T. GROSSO & SON, INC.-
CARTERET AVENUE PEDESTRIAN IIqPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Governing Body of the Borough of Carteret has previously
entered into a contract with T. Grosso & Son, inc. for the Carteret Avenue
Pedestrian improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Consulting Engineer for the project, T&IM
Associates, has advised the Governing Body that a change in said contract
is necessary to reflect "as-built" quantities; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Consulting Engineer has recommended the
approval of Change Order No. 3 (see attached Change Order) which
results in neither an increase nor decrease in the original contract price of
$192,350.00; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has reviewed the Engineer's
recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Borough
Council of the Borough of Carteret, County of Nlidd[esex, State of New
Jersey, as follows:
1. That the Contract Change Order No. 3, attached hereto and
made a part hereof, for the Carteret Avenue Pedestrian
Improvements Contract between T. Grosso & Son, ][nc. and
the Borough of Carteret, resulting in no change in the overalJ
contract amount, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute Change Order
No. 3.
3. A copy of this Resolution and a fully executed copy of
Change Order No. 3 be forwarded to T&M Associates for
distribution to T. Grosso & Son, ][nc.
