HomeMy Public PortalAbout05-02-2014 Strategic Planning MinutesMinutes of the Strategic Planning Meeting of the Village President and the Board of Trustees Held on May 2 , 201 4 at Village Hall Mayor Collins called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m. in the Boardr oom. Present were: Mayor Collins, Trustee Bonuchi, Trustee Fay, Trustee Lam b, Trustee Peck (12:30 p.m.), Trustee Racich. Board absent: Trustee Rippy: Others present: Lewis G. Bender , Facilitator; Brian Murphy, Administrator; Traci Pleckham, Management Services Director; Michael Garrigan, Planning Super visor; Dean Marquez, Building Supervisor; Allen Persons, Public Works Director; and John Konopek, Chief of Police. There were 2 persons in the audience. Lunch was served and the discussion started at approximately 12:35 p.m. PUBLIC COMMENTS None STRAT EGIC PLANNING DISCUSSION Staff presented and reviewed an update to the Action Items of the 2018 Strategic Plan. Staff reviewed the progress of the action items as well as the next steps. There was general consensus to add an additional action item that the staff will work on relations with Canadian National. The next Strategic Planning Meeting will be held on January 10, 2015. Mayor Collins thanked everyone for the discussion. On a motion from Trustee Lamb and seconded by Trustee Bonuchi, the me eting adjourned at 2:55 p.m. These minutes were prepared by Brian Murphy.
